I hope to exchange more words with you at a future time. These are acutely sharp, penetrating thoughts that you have intelligently framed.
Thank you.

he was down on the floor with his lips to a glass said he dreamed of a future that won't come to pass that he once strived to excel in a world so vast but why run a race when it's rigged and he's fixed in last then he mused over life is a joke and he laughed that it is what it is and he's thankful for all that he has i said well let me just pose one question and ask if you just want what you have, then why are are you sad
she was tripping on something that was laced in her tea and she was high as a kite when she said she could see said we in the land of the free but no freedom grows and if we in a brave new world where'd the brave all go i said, hell if i know then she told me that the problem is the society everybody crippled by anxiety no one is the person that they try to be then she said, what we need are a few with a view that can bring a change through that we need less talk and more do so i said to her, what about you
i was listening to someone give a speech something 'bout the knowledge of enlightenment he reached and as my eyes glazed over in my seat he approached and he asked if he could challenge my beliefs i said by all means have at it then he talked about the suffering and source of bad habits how the emptying of mind is the challenge and withdrawing from the world is the cure to all sadness i said that all sounds like madness why have a life and then not be alive why have a mind and then choose to be blind what you call wisdom is the fear that you hide you cannot retreat from those demons inside this is not peace, it's a mask you adorn this is not truth, it's a trap, nothing more and you're too busy running from something you can't ignore

When I saw your little cabin in the sky . . .

an unwelcome dawn comes creeping upward, her tendrils straddling the dark mountain so terribly near my once sweet but now quaking refuge called home of the heart.. i peer through panes that give onto a landscape of horror that, to some, appears pristine but to me is a reminder that he has been swallowed up by a wood both black and cruel.. daring to venture forth, i hear his voice .

.. he calls out, so faintly, begging i rescue him from a jail that holds him fast against all escape; though myself a liberated man, i cannot free the one i taught the truth.

ray franz received letters from branch committee members that displayed thoughtfulness and breadth of viewpoint that were in sharp contrast to the rigidity and narrowness of several members of the governing body:.
what was the effect of all this?
Likewise, Listener, do I thank you for your excellent observations!
The RC surely has done its homework. My bewilderment is why one of the "elect" was so lacking in knowledge as to certain aspects of the workings of the organization. Perhaps the simplicity of the Gospel has become lost in the enormous, unwieldy machinery of Committee and Corporation.
I was hoping for a Trumanesque declaration that the buck stops here, that Christ's "brother" would make it his personal resolve to effect change.
Who knows, . . . the night is still young. . . .

hello people.
the rc will still go ahead with it's live stream on friday 14th august.
however, it seem that it will be a video link.
i just thought i would mention this on the off chance they might be lurking here.
the two quotes are.

Spot on, Krejames! I could have written all five of your well-thought-out paragraphs!
This is meaningful to me because I worked on the publication, AID TO BIBLE UNDERSTANDING. While the quotation below is found, too, in the INSIGHT book, I prefer the former book. Thus it is written, but is it practiced? Just WHO is my brother?
Regarding "love believes all things," from the 13th chapter of 1 Corinthians:
"Love produces confidence in one's faithful Christian brothers, [italics added] not suspecting them or disbelieving them unless there is absolute proof they are wrong." ATBU, p.1083, para. 1.
who here have suffer from vertigo?
if so how did you combat it?
how long.
For me, as Mrs. Flipper described.
Had it 3 weeks ago, and I was on the floor from morning till night. It always happens, for me, upon waking up in the morning. I open my eyes and the room is spinning.
Doc prescribed Dramamine, which stays on my nightstand. Can be result of a virus, I was told, because others had it at the same time as me.
I get motion sickness badly, but early meds stop it totally.
Hope you're better!

why does the governing body depend on the helpers to write watchtower articles and the information in other publications?
why does the governing body not write these articles themselves?
they depend on the helpers to compose/write this information.
Who Actually Supplies the "Food"?
There were, of course, articles that did come through from "anointed" brothers in different countries. [footnote #37: In almost all cases the article came because President Knorr had sent an assignment to the person to write it.] These, however, were subject to review, revision and even total rewriting according to the discretion of the Writing Department overseer, Karl Adams. Yet Karl himself was not of the "anointed." He felt no hesitance in turning over an article written by one of the "anointed" to one of the "other sheep" for reworking or rewriting, and frequently did so. No one of his superiors had any objection to his doing so.
The sole exception to this rule were the writings prepared by the vice president, Fred Franz. As Karl stated to me, Knorr had made clear that the vice president's writings were to be altered only with the vice president's permission.
In one Governing Body meeting when this subject of preparation of "spiritual food" came up, President Knorr spontaneously acknowledged that the great bulk of the writing was done by those of the "other sheep" class. To any one writing in the Writing Department this was obvious. Though the Writing Department has since been greatly expanded, the situation remains essentially the same. [footnote # 38: The writing staff in recent years numbers 20 or more persons in all, the great majority professing to be of the "other sheep."]
The reason generally given to explain away this anomaly is that, even though the non-anointed members do the thinking, development and writing of the material, it is always read and approved by persons of the "anointed" before printing. Evidently this somehow adds an anointed touch or quality to the material. [footnote # 39: Compare Haggai 2:11, 12.] The very fact that such reasoning must be resorted to of itself shows the strained nature of the claim made as to the application of the food-supplying aspect of Jesus' parable.
